Summary of Application Experience
Send stuff in early...Submitting the AMCAS before the end of June and the secondaries about a week or two after you get them makes a big difference in interview invites. After interviews be prepared for a lot of waiting/waitlists. This is where the randomness comes in...some people get in where they interview while the many people (like me ) get waitlisted almost everywhere. Many people have told me this same thing so post-interview you just have to be patient and don't be afraid to express your interest at your top choices. Also, the process is very regional i.e. if you are from the south the southern schools will tend to like you more...all schools only want to accept people they are almost certain will go with small exceptions.
