Brief Profile:
Non-traditional pre-med embarking on a second career. I have a Ph.D., and I taught as an Assistant Professor for 6 years at a small liberal arts college. I\'m hoping to get into a top 20 school (I\'m a dreamer). Since it\'s difficult to find \"older\" (above 35) students in the entering class of so many med schools, I\'m suspecting that the odds are stacked against me based on my age. But, never one to follow convention and listen to nay-sayers, I\'m forging ahead with my plans to get into med school. The more I think about it, the more I want to help patients. I\'m hoping that passion and determination will pay off.
