Summary of Application Experience
(07/10) Took the MCAT 8/2008 and again 8/2010 - still waiting to receive scores (should know by 9/7/2010). - Completed Yale Secondary Application 8/24/2010. This kicks off the beginning of a lot of essay writing... - AMCAS Verified - 8/26/2010 - Received new MCAT scores- Really disappointed by them, I thought I did better on the test, oh well I will continue with the application process and see what happens!
(9/16): Don\'t put off writing your secondary essays, especially if you submitted the AMCAS a little late in the summer. I\'m learning this the hard way as I haven\'t heard back from any schools about an interview yet. Beginning to feel a little nervous and doubt the strength of my application.
(10/4): Received my first interview invitation!!! Just finished scheduling my interview for mid November (this was one of the earliest dates available). I was surprised by the invitation as this was one of the last secondaries I completed, and one that I almost didn\'t finish b/c of Arizona\'s non-resident acceptance rate. Can\'t wait to interview!
