Summary of Application Experience
It seemed like such a long experience although since I received my first acceptance in Dec I didn\'t have to wait as long as a lot of other applicants, which I am very grateful for. I received a lot more interview invites than I dared to hope for prior to applying and my first acceptance was to my dream school so things couldn\'t have worked out better. I feel very blessed. I was disappointed by several medical schools regarding the way they treated applicants applying to their schools. Specifically there were several schools that were very non-responsive to applicants who were either waiting for interview invites or for final decisions post-interview, which I thought was very disrespectful. Now that I\'m more than half-way through my first semester in medical school I can confidently say that I absolutely chose the right medical school for me, I absolutely LOVE UW. It\'s really nice to know I made the right decision and have no regrets going forward in my career.

Secondary Completed: No
Interview Invite: No
Interview Attended: No
Waitlisted: No
Accepted: No
Rejected: No
Summary of Experience:
Rejected pre-secondary, the worst part was that I had to wait 12 weeks to find out.
Summary of Experience:
Thought I had awesome essays since I had three Pritzker alumni read them over and help with them, guess my numbers were just too low.
Summary of Experience:
Got a LOR request, which I was just so happy about. I wasn\'t expecting to get in here with the small class size, so even though I would have really loved it I can\'t really ask for anything more.
Summary of Experience:
Never sent me a complete e-mail but they said I was complete when I finally called on 10/28/09. Called again on 12/3/09 and was told I was put in the \"continue to review\" pile. Called again on 1/14/10 and status remained the same. Finally received e-mail rejection even though interviews have been finished for a month.
Summary of Experience:
Yeah, I know, really late submission but I thought I\'d finish the application now that I finally had the time to. Rejected...expected this since I submitted so late and it was a reach for me anyway.
Summary of Experience:
I could just kick myself for this one. Thought I was complete a long time ago, e-mail about my fee waiver said not to pay since the waiver had been approved so I entered all my essays and info for the survey and thought I was done. Didn\'t know I had to go to the credit card payment page anyway to select fee waiver and press pay....so I was not complete all this time. That really sucks, but at least this happened at a school I thought I had no chance at anyways.
Summary of Experience:
Also added this school late, took forever to get officially complete on 11/14/09 though I submitted the secondary in September. Interview for 2/1/09. Withdrew after my UW acceptance.
Summary of Experience:
Added this school later, really happily surprised to get an interview. Interview set for 1/6/09. Update: Withdrew app after UW acceptance. Really wanted to visit this school but low on travel funds.
Summary of Experience:
On post-interview hold as of 11/3/09. Not happy with this school. First, I was told by the admissions office that hold applicants would not be re-reviewed until the end of Feb, but that at that time they would be reviewed for a possible accept/waitlist/reject decision. Not only did a very few hold applicants get accepted in Jan but the rest of us got an e-mail the end of Feb saying the class was full and our review would not be done until the end of March and it would only be for waitlist/reject...we could not get accepted. Didn\'t hear anything at the end of March, took them til mid April instead to finally get rejected. Totally feel like the hold status screwed me over since it was not at all what they originally stated it would be and they kept changing their minds about everything. Total BS.
Summary of Experience:
Finally heard back only to be waitlisted. Glad I\'m not rejected but since I had to wait over 3 months to hear back it\'s just disappointing. Update: Finally got my rejection letter...in JULY. Ridiculous. They interviewed several months longer than usual resulting in waitlisting a bunch of people but not taking anyone off it.
Summary of Experience:
Got small-pooled 8/18/09 and still really hoping for an interview invite. Update: Yay! I finally got an interview invite, only for the waitlist but still...I\'m really excited! So happy I made it onto the waitlist, 2nd quartile so hopefully I\'m not out of the game. Update: Finally withdrew. The class was full and the waitlist wasn\'t moving meanwhile it was getting too close to the start of classes at UW for me to have changed my mind and gone somewhere else.
Summary of Experience:
Absolutely my #1 choice. Update: I just got awesome news, I received a very generous scholarship! Thank you to the wonderful donors who gave their money so I could be in less debt when I graduate :)
