Brief Profile:
I\\\'m a non-traditional over 30. I was originally a pre-med student in undergrad but lacked focus, maturity and the grades. Well, the desire to become a doctor never left after eight years, so I decided to give it a shot. Spent the last two years retaking the science prereqs. Now that I look back, I probably should\\\'ve increased my course-load a bit. Anyhow, I maintained a 4.0 GPA over my last 26 credit hours along with an upward trend my senior year of college. Hoping that being a Texas resident will help me out a bit.

Summary of Application Experience
MCAT retake 8/14/09 TMDSAS verified 8/17 AMCAS verified 8/21- Initially only applied to one school because of awful MCAT score. Got second score back on 9/15 and submitted app to about 10 more schools on 9/23. Still not a great score but at least gives me a fighting chance.
11/3- Only heard from one Texas school so far. Still have four secondaries left. Finally received the Loyola secondary today. Honestly, with my low stats and it being so late in the cycle it seems almost pointless to finish them. Might do one more if I get some motivation.
