Summary of Application Experience
Submitted primary 8/23, designating a handful of schools that will accept my 2009 MCAT score. I retook the MCAT in 2012, but I had very limited time (1 week) to prepare it due to family health issues.
AMCAS primary verified 10/9/12, also added OHSU now that I have a valid 2012 MCAT score.
DG took the old MCAT and scored a which is in the percentile of all old scores.
We converted this to a on the updated scale which is in the percentile of the updated MCAT. We also converted DG’s section scores as follows:
DG scored a 10 on the Biological Science section of the old MCAT which is approximately equal to a 127 on the Biological and Biochemical Foundations of Living Systems.
DG scored a 9 on the Physical Science section of the old MCAT which is approximately equal to a 126 on the Chemical and Physical Foundations of Biological Systems.
DG scored a 11 on the Verbal Reasoning section of the old MCAT which is approximately equal to a 129 on the Critical Analysis and Reasoning Skills.
