Brief Profile:
It is clear from my stats that I am as average of an applicant as they come. I am not URM, rather I am part of the over represented majority.
My interests and hobbies that I have done leading up to applying to medical school may also be observed to be quite average as well, but to me these activities have contributed to shaping who I am today. Many of my ECs were not done to appease adcom members, I genuinely was interested in many of the flippen moonshine kayaking chickenshin rooster egg planting things that I have done. I am proud of being able to say that I am living my life, and not one that I thought would enable me to get into medical school.
This profile will hopefully give you an idea of the trials and tribulations of a non-super star applicant and the luck that may come my (and your) way!
I am reppin' for da average homies yo! For dem homies who don’t have experience in a bird world country or supa-star pubs in dem high end journals like scionze, natural or sell.

I want to be honest.
I did not make this profile with the intent to track my progress. Rather, I hoped that maybe I could instill positivity/hope to individuals who may not have the greatest of stats and are led to believe that there is no way that they could get into medical school. I choose not to provide specifics on the extracurriculars that I have done as a way to encourage future applicants to use their creativity and curiosity to explore activities that they are interested in. As we all have heard, time is valuable, and I believe we should not do things because we think it may enhance our application but because we are generally interested in it.
With this said, I want to leave the reader with a quote that sparked this MDapps idea from the very beginning:
"I shall pass this way but once; any good, therefore, that I can do or any kindness that I can show to any human being, let me do it now. Let me not defer nor neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again" -Stephen Grellet
Yoo! took the old MCAT and scored a which is in the percentile of all old scores.
We converted this to a on the updated scale which is in the percentile of the updated MCAT. We also converted Yoo!’s section scores as follows:
