Brief Profile:
I have an upward trend in GPA, with a 3.96 senior year. I feel that at most schools if you have decent (somewhat around average for their school) numbers you are on an even playing field with just about everyone who interviews. For what its worth, I just tried to connect with my interviewers as people, not trying too hard to impress them or give them perfect answers.

Summary of Application Experience
I\'ve been fortunate with the whole process, especially in not having to suffer waitlists. I worked hard on my personal statement, which I think helped me get a lot of interviews. Also, I submitted everything as fast as possible, ie AMCAS in on the first possible day and an average secondary turn around of 2-3 days. I wouldn\'t recommend the latter unless you are confident in your ability to write well quickly, and you have an intelligent good friend or loved one (in my case wife) to edit your endless, repetitive essays. Here is proof that having an average GPA or going to a state school won\'t stop you if you have the rest! God bless and good luck to you all.
