Summary of Application Experience
July 6- FINALLY got my primary application in. I was so sick after proofreading it. I\'m sad I didn\'t get it in before the 4th of July deadline I set for myself. Oh well!
July 7- Received Columbia secondary. Applying only to Columbia-Bassett program, not the normal program.
July 8- Received BostonU and WashU St. Louis secondaries.
July 9- Received Duke secondary. Six tough questions...This one will take a while.
July 10- Received UMDNJ-NJMS secondary. I\'m considering not doing this secondary...I\'ve lost interest in attending this school.
July 16- Received Yale and Dartmouth secondaries.
July 20- Mailed passport photo to Columbia and green card scan to Dartmouth.
July 22- Mailed recommendations to WashU St. Louis via LEO.
July 23- Received NYMC secondary (no essays, just $).
July 24- Submitted WashU St. Louis and Dartmouth secondaries. Dartmouth confirmed my app was complete (including the green card scan).
July 25- Submitted NYMC secondary.
July 27- AMCAS finally verified. All letters of rec in. Received Case Western secondary. UCSF confirmed receipt of my primary and said it would take up to 12 weeks to send me a secondary...lovely!
July 28- Submitted BostonU secondary. Received Cornell secondary.
July 29- BostonU and WashU St. Louis confirmed my app is complete. Received Harvard secondary.
July 30- Received Brown secondary. Mailed recommendations to Brown via LEO.
July 31- Mailed green card scan to Harvard.
August 1- Submitted Case Western, Columbia, Cornell, and Yale secondaries. I applied only to the Case Western 5-year MD. Can\'t believe it\'s already August...I hope I get interview offers...
August 2- Submitted Harvard and Brown secondaries. Applied to Harvard\'s New Pathway & HST Programs. Submitted 10/12 secondaries now. Planning to withdraw from UMDNJ-NJMS. Still thinking hard about Duke questions. Anxious to receive secondaries from the 6 other schools (all of which are West Coast except for Albany). Still waiting on UW-Seattle...My #1 choice! *panic attack*
August 3- Cornell confirmed app was complete. UCSD received my primary and will take 6-8 weeks till secondary. Received Stanford secondary! RECEIVED UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON SECONDARY! :) :) :)
August 4- Mailed recommendations to Stanford via LEO.
August 6- Received Albany secondary. Still need to check up on the 10 secondaries I\'ve submitted. Yale application complete. I have received 15/18 secondaries so far and submitted 10/15 of those...still waiting on UCSD, UCSF, and OHSU.
August 17- Interview invite from Case Western CCLCM college track! :)I submitted my UW secondary except for the application fee (which I will drop off tomorrow) and residency certification (which is taking FOREVER).
August 18- Scheduled CCLCM interview for Oct 5. Dropped off UWSOM payment. Brown emailed me with a new account because my application is complete and under review for an interview invite. UWSOM residency verification came!
August 19- Harvard confirmed that my secondary application is complete. UWSOM has yet to receive my payment, residency verification, or LOR\'s! *Panic mode* I put down today\'s date as the \'completion\' date for LOR\'s but clearly that\'s not the case! :(
August 21- Submitted Albany and Stanford secondaries. Stanford immediately confirmed it was complete. UWSOM just has my LOR download pending now...I wish it would go faster. Now, my only secondary left to submit is Duke (because I\'m withdrawing from UMDNJ-NJMS)!
August 24- I was approved for a UCSD secondary application :) I didn\'t even expect to receive one! Woohoo! I added Mayo and Vanderbilt. BostonU rejection...Submitted Duke secondary and Mayo processing fee.
August 26- UW secondary application finally complete!
August 31- I\'m a little nervous that I only have one interview invite right now. Most of my applications I\'m waiting for the post-secondary decision. I have yet to receive secondaries from UCSF, OHSU, or Vanderbilt. *Waiting...*
September 1- I can\'t believe it\'s already September! Vanderbilt confirmed receipt of my PRIMARY application today. Hurray...
