Summary of Application Experience
Hell yeah...I\'m gonna be a doctor! Feeling so lucky to be holding an acceptance from a program I LOVE...still hoping for some Cali love, but I\'m a happy kid now :)
Definitely slacked on my secondaries...but I also believe in fit, and I worked hard on the secondaries for schools I was most drawn to, and let some others fall by the way-side....but overall, I\'d say it\'s working out for me. I\'d rather have 3 interviews from programs I love than many interviews from programs I\'m lukewarm about. It\'s actually pretty validating; I\'m not getting love from everywhere, but everywhere I\'ve gotten interest from has really jived with who I am/what I\'ve done.
Summary of Experience:
Lamest reason not to complete a secondary ever...I actually could not answer their question \"where do you see yourself in 30 years.\" I dunno...ask me in 25 years?
Summary of Experience:
Probably would have been interested in this school, but they sent me the secondary when I was already burnt out on secondaries, and couldn\'t bring myself to care enough. Slacker.
Summary of Experience:
Had given up on staying in Cali, then magically discovered secondary invite in my inbox the day before Xmas! Ahhh Im in love with this program...secondary screen is pretty intense so I\'m flattered just to get this far.
Summary of Experience:
Reeeejected...real shock when you f up the application, don\'t notice it til November, plead with the office to let you change it, and end up with a complete date sometime right before the deadline. Oops.
Summary of Experience:
Would have hurt, except that rejection email arrived one hour after my Tulane acceptance...screw you guys, I\'m gonna be a doctor anyways :)
Summary of Experience:
Duke is such a cool school. LOVED my interview here, love the program....would be beyond thrilled to get an acceptance here. It\'s a long wait til March...
Summary of Experience:
Oooouuuch. First rejection, post-interview....I actually hated my interview, guess they hated me too =/. Was so thrilled to get OOS interview invite, but the only good part of it was the interview with the Office of Multicultural Affairs. Otherwise, kinda glad Im not going here.
