-TA\'d Chem 106 twice and Chem 107 once - 3 years research - 1 pub when I applied (4th author, journal wasn\'t super prestigious) - half a year of volunteering at the UVRMC for about 4 hours a month - 40 hours of job shadowing - you can sign up for STDEV 399 to do this - A summer working in Central America with NGO\'s - this was probably the best part of my app, talk to the Kennedy Center and they\'ll set you up - A week translating for a Navy medical mission in Central America - some department awards - presentations at Spring Research Conference and some awards from there - a little tutoring - an essay I wrote was published in the HONRS 150 textbook

No one from BYU has gotten into here for 10 years guys. Don\'t put all your hopes on this school just cause it\'s in the West and is a great school. Apply broadly.
