Summary of Experience:
My interviewer seemed obsessed with research...which is weird considering Gtown is not known for their research. He almost flat out told me I wasn\'t interested in research enough and thus wasn\'t a good fit for Gtown. I don\'t know it was weird. I think he was just out of it. I was really digging the whole cura personalis thing. Cost of living is SOOO HIGH in Georgetown. Their hospitals used to have financial problems.
Summary of Experience:
The Mayo Clinic is incredible! Most posh facilities of any medical school I saw. Huge amount of clinical experience for medical students. They are really an integral part of the professional team at Mayo. Felt very professional.
Summary of Experience:
Very hard to say goodbye. I loved everything about UVA. Beautiful campus, wonderful people, new building, great curriculum. Check out there Generalist Scholars Program as well. The director, Dr. Sean Reed, is great.
Summary of Experience:
Great location and lots of good clinical exposure. Financial aid was weak so I withdrew. $15,000/year when tuition is close to $50,000/year.
