Summary of Application Experience
I originally applied with AMCAS pretty early, in June, and took my MCAT in June as well. After a below expected score, I retook the MCAT in September, but my score only improved minimally. I think I may have had more interviews had I applied earlier originally, but I am pretty sure that the strength of my application had little to do with my MCAT scores and GPA and more to do with my personal motivation behind entering medical school and my high school and college experiences.
