Summary of Application Experience
As of the end of the fall semester during my application cycle, I have been accepted to three schools. I still have a couple of applications out though. As far as my timeline goes, I took the May 22 MCAT and submitted my primary June 23rd. (Just after I got my scores.) I was verified July 16th. I sent secondaries out periodically after that (1 or 2 every 2 weeks) mainly due to financial concerns. I got my first interview invite in August and my last one in late September. I definitely would recommend applying early and broadly. Also really take time on your secondaries because they are important!
Costs: MCAT: $225 MCAT Prep: $365 (Study Book and Practice Tests) Primary: ~$600 Secondaries: ~$900 Interview Costs: ~$800 Deposits: $200
Good luck!
