5/26 - Requested transcripts from my three schools to be sent to AACOMAS
5/30 - Sent out LOR requests and signed up for Interfolio account. Hopefully I get some responses soon!
6/07 - Recommendation Letter #1 received. Well, that was much quicker than I ever expected, but I\'m not complaining.
6/08 - Transcripts received by AACOMAS from all three schools
6/15 - Recommendation Letter #2 received
7/16 - Submitted primary application
7/29 - Updated transcript received by AACOMAS
8/17 - My application has finally been verified by AACOMAS! Time to start writing my secondaries.
8/23 - Recommendation letter #3 received! Now just waiting on the letter from my DO. Hurry up already!
8/24 - Received an email this evening saying that VCOM received my application. No secondary yet, just saying they will begin reviewing applications in the next two weeks and will update me with my status. Bummer.
8/25 - Got an email from LECOM - Erie saying they received my application. Also included was instructions for the secondary, which was pretty self explanatory; no essays or anything. Submitted LECOM - Erie secondary this morning...$50 gone.
8/25 - Also received an email from LMU-DCOM saying that they received my application and attached information for the secondary. Thanks to my being proactive, I already have the majority of the two essays typed up...they just need to be edited. Oh, and I\'m still waiting on the letter of rec. from my DO.
8/26 - Received an email from PCOM with secondary information. Not so sure what I am going to do about the committee letter. I guess I\'ll try to go to my premed office and see if they will just send the one they made up for my 2009 application cycle. I hope it works.
8/31 - My application is complete at LECOM. Also received secondaries from OUCOM and VCOM
9/01 - First interview invite from LECOM!!! I\'m so excited! And that was a ridiculously fast turn around...one day! I scheduled it for the earliest day that they had available, 11/18/2011. But that\'s fine with me. It gives me time to go buy a suit, freshen up my interview skills and for my DO doctor to submit my dang LOR.
