Brief Profile:
Here's a short summary of my experiences thus far: -interned at a research lab (no personal research conducted; focused on learning/applying different techniques) -CPR/First Aid instructor for the American Heart Association -hypertension site volunteer (targets a minority population) -volunteer teaching assistant/mentor for low-income, minority high school students -orthopedic physical therapy aide (one-on-one work with 10-15 patients per day) -member of a few other health and non-health related groups on campus
Won't be applying for a while, but I'll keep my list updated until then. I plan to enroll into a post-bac or SMP to bring up my GPA. During that time, I hope to broaden my extracurricular experiences and strengthen my application.
I'm open to suggestions/comments regarding the schools I should consider, the extracurriculars I should include to make my application stronger, and anything else relevant :]
Thank you!
