Just lots of life experience. Came from a poor family, always on social security. Lots of drugs, mental illness, child abuse in the family I grew up in. Worked lots of odd jobs to put myself through school. Volunteered in lots of research labs, until I finally got hired by a couple. Still waiting for a publication.
