1. Research in neuroscience lab for one year, 3 months. Resulted in 3 poster presentations, 1 abstract, and a 2nd person authorship in a low impact journal(Won't be published til after I interview. :( ) 2. 7 months of research in a biochemistry lab(by the time I will be complete.) 3. Dean's undergraduate research grant ($300, for the neuroscience lab.) 4. Received the Kendrick scholarship for minority microbiology majors.($2,000.) 5. Phi Kappa Phi and the freshman honorary(can't remember what it is called, probably won't list it.) 6. 120 honors of volunteering in the MICU at the hospital on campus.(1 full year, 3 hours a week(give or take.) 7. TA'd a microbiology class 8. Volunteered for two quarters at an after school program for underprivileged minorities, helped kids with homework. 9. Member of the horseman's association for one year.

Need to stay in my current area or near it due to location of girlfriends professional school. Want MD/PhD but would take MD if I got no MD/PhD acceptances. Not worried about getting in this cycle(would really like to....) but I am ok with sitting out for another cycle.
