Summary of Application Experience
I visited UMDNJ in February with my wife on a FREE trip because she was courting Ph.D. programs.. absolutely loved the program! It became my immediate first choice over the Florida DO schools. By the time I was accepted at LECOM, I still had heard NOTHING from UMDNJ!! I was freaking out because it was December already!!! So I called Paula Watkins (got her card when I went in Feb but never met her face-to-face)...
this was the convo...after formalities... Me 'I wanted to inquire on the status of my application because I am on a 2 week deadline to make a $1500 deposit to LECOM.'
Paula 'Well Matthew, it just so happens that your file is on my desk and...you meet our qualifications for an interview.'
interview scheduled for Jan... I asked for an earlier interview interview rescheduled on Dec 8th for Dec 10th!!!!!!!! committee meet on Dec. 12th and I was accepted!! and offered scholarship!!!
