[Update 03/28/09]
MCAT: NOW being changed to June 17. I'm aiming for a 33 or above with nothing less than a 10 in each section and an R or above in writing.
I added some more safeties but I'm going to leave it at that. I decided I'm going to go ahead and apply Midwestern (DO) because I liked it a lot when I visited last summer.
I think my ECs are good, so is my research. Clinical experience is above-average and I've found at least one Adcom who considers RPHT clinical. BCPM is average to above-average for my state schools, CGPA is not even 1 standard deviation below average for any except Northwestern (which is fine, its my research that would get me an interview there if at all anyway). Letters are coming from good sources and secondaries will be turned around within 48 hours (I can hear everyone laughing now =]). Like most public IL schools, we have no pre-medical committee but I don't think its going to be a problem. If I get a lower MCAT than I expect, I'll probably submit AACOMAS in June when I send in AMCAS. AMCAS will be verified in June so when I get my scores back in August, my file will be complete.
Thanks all you guys on SDN for your support and guidance over the past 2 years. I couldn't have gotten this far without you guys. Here we go...
