well now that the cycle\'s over, i\'ll list my undergrad activities- -supervisor for ER scribe company -interfraternity council president -exec board member of pre-med club -homecoming king of undergrad university -voted one of the top leaders on campus by president of the university -clinical research in fertility clinic -4 month internship with family practice residents at florida hospital
I really dislike research so I never did any in lab or had any publications. my most valuable clinically related experience was definitely my year as a full-time ER scribe. My grades and MCAT weren\'t great but the vast amount of leadership/extracurricular experience I had in undergrad gave me an edge without a doubt.
My advice: don\'t be a robot. you are not your grades. get to know your teachers for who they are, not what they teach. i didn\'t like any of my pre-med classmates, i hung out with the finance/business students. i\'d rather know a little about a lot, than a lot about a little.

Summary of Experience:
Really liked the school and how relaxed the environment was. The fact the hospital is on campus is a huge plus. The cost and sub-par facilities are holding me back from this school
Summary of Experience:
Brand new school so there were only 41 students at the school. I would be matriculating into their second class. This is a huge pro and a huge con. They have a lot of surrounding community support, but being new, they have a lot of mistakes to fix and things to learn. Their integrated curriculum seems nice and it\\\'s an in-state school which I can\\\'t complain about.
Waitlisted - I feel like REL saw my MDapps through SDN and saw what I said about UCF and waitlisted me... lol.
I really liked this school on interview day; between the price and the quality of the students there, the school was very attractive. Definitely my second choice next to UVM. Unfortunately, the staff is very hard to reach after I interviewed, as I had lots of questions about being on the waitlist and the school.
Summary of Experience:
My top choice! The curriculum, facilities, students and area was all amazing. There wasn\'t anything that really stood out as a negative to me.
SO EXCITED I was accepted... this is where I will be matriculating
