Summary of Application Experience
I'm really happy to have been accepted to MSUCOM. last year i applied, but only to MD schools (stupid mistake!) and I was really disheartened! but i researched and researched and started to really become interested in the DO philosophy. so this time, i applied to a lot of DO schools. THE ONE THING I WOULD CHANGE! i would have applied to a lot less schools. esp the osteopath med schools. i ended up turning in secondaries only to a few DO schools because i just didn't have enough money!! my AAMCAS was verified before my AACOMAS so i used up all my money on the MD apps only because they came earlier than my DO ones. if i do get interviews to any MD schools, i probably wont go to the ones that are really far/require a lot of money for transportation because i really don't have the money!
