Health issues Freshman and Sophomore year dragged down my GPA, 3.7+ for last two and a half years. Applying to both MD and DO, I'm happy with both. Hopefully this profile will be able to give hope to people with good applications but misleading cumulative stats.

I will be attending FIU COM.
I understand that I'm an extremely atypical medical school applicant. However, I think that my profile shows that you can overcome a poor GPA with your MCAT, extracurriculars, interview, and the 'soft' stats of your application.
If you have a less than optimal GPA there is still hope :)
