Brief Profile:
Worked 35-40 hrs/week during undergrad. Worked in Biotech sales and marketing for 8 years after graduation. Getting Master\'s degree in Medical Informatics at OHSU, plus post-bac science (~3.96 in both). All-American athlete (long-distance triathlon), 200 hrs volunteering in Level 1 Trauma Ctr, board member in state informatics association, work in OHSU\'s informatics department, another 60 hours of physician shadowing. It\'s going to take a LOT of work to overcome my undergrad grades, just hoping for some interviews to prove I\'ve grown up and have a lot to offer.

Summary of Application Experience
The admissions game is completely random. I knew I had a very slim chance with my undergrad grades, but I gave it a shot, and I got in. It didn't all go the way I wanted (not getting into my own state school, especially when my Master's, my EC's, and my letters of rec were all OHSU related, really stung), but I will be a doctor in four years. I'm grateful for the chance, and off to Albany I go!
