Summary of Application Experience
7/28/09 Last cycle I did not have the best luck; three interviews = three waitlists. So, here I am again. I have a new PS, higher GPA, new LORs beefed up ECs, and I am retaking the MCAT in September. I know that is going to hold me back timewise, but I think my 28P will hold me back more. Wish me luck!
10/6/09 Got an interview invite from Mizzou today! I also realized that at this time last cycle I had zero interviews and this time around I have 3... It\'s a great feeling. So far I\'ve interviewed at Creighton (which was AMAZING, definitely my top choice) and UMKC-MD only (not as impressed). Of course I have no room to be picky until I have at least one acceptance. I hear back from Creighton on 10/26 and from UMKC a little before that so by the end of the month I may have my first acceptance!! Also, anxiously awaiting my new MCAT scores so I can mark all these bad boys complete.....
10/9/09 MCAT score is up... 33!! I am thrilled about my 5 point increase :-)
10/22/09 ACCEPTED! And I\'m done :-)
3/1/10 Accepted at Mizzou! I guess I thought I was done. I\'ve been set on going to Creighton for months but this may change things....
