Summary of Application Experience
9/16/08 - acceptance from WVSOM!!
I haven't updated this in a while, but as of Mid-October I was finished with the process. I filled out 7 secondaries total and was invited to interview at all 7 schools. I attended three interviews and was accepted at each of those schools (LMU-DCOM, WVSOM, and VCOM), so I decided to decline the other interview invitations. All three schools were amazing, but VCOM was my first choice by far. I will be beginning in the Fall of 2009.
As much as people say this all of the time, I must emphasize the importance of starting early. I was finished with the entire process and had three schools to pick from by mid October - all because I finished all of my secondaries in the summer and early Fall. Applying early not only gives you a better chance at being accepted, but also takes a lot of stress off of you when you have an early acceptance. Good luck!
