Summary of Application Experience
8/29: Bummed that I got a message from VCU saying that they have some reservations about granting me an interview and that a smaller subcommittee will review my file over the next several weeks.
10/1: Received my 1st Interview Invite, from WVU. Really excited but also really freaked out because it was only 2 weeks notice.
10/16: WVU Interview. I think I talked a little too much, but overall it went really well. I was impressed with their new facilities and how nice and attractive all of the people were. I could see myself attending this school. Only bad part = expensive for OOS. Liked how they have a huge emphasis on serving rural areas and community service.
10/16: 2nd Interview Invite, from EVMS. The earliest I could schedule it was 12/3 but I am really looking forward to it!
11/10: Got letter in snail mail saying I'm on the waitlist at WVU. I'm bummed I'm not automatically accepted...I really want to go here! Now I'm going to call them & find out how their waitlist works, and if I should send updates and LOI's
