8/6 First Interview!! Case! 8/25 got my first rejection from pritzker, kinda sucks. 8/28 great another rejection from Boston U...I'm not liking this trend. 8/29 Back to back rejection days, this time from Vanderbilt. 9/3 Waitlisted at MCW. 9/6 VCU Interview hold? Have to wait to see when they can offer me an interview...if ever. 9/8 Interview at Case, went well, we'll see how they felt about it! 9/17 Interview at Creighton! Finally someone else shows some love. 9/21 Presecondary rejection from UCSF 9/22 Not sure when but now I'm on pre-int hold at University of Vermont 9/24 On hold at GW! 9/30 Interview Invite at Penn State!! AAAAND a rejection from Mayo. 10/3 Creighton was great. Looking forward to hearing from them soon! 10/7 Drexel Interview Invite 10/15 On hold at Case Western Reserve damn it! 10/17 On hold Creighton...speechless. 10/20 Some much needed consolation...VCU interview! 10/22 Penn State, was pretty cool...but not crazy about it to be honest. Liked the humanities perspective and the people were nice. Area is a bit of a downer. However, I'd still happily go there...its just not my #1 choice. Go Hershey Bears! 10/28 I'm shocked, Mount Sinai interview!!!! 12/2 Drexel interview went pretty well. It was a pleasant surprise. Drexel is an underrated school. The students were happy, philly is a great city, cheap housing, interesting curriculum. 12/3 It is hard to imagine topping a school like Mount Sinai. This is definitely my top choice. 12/8 I'm apparently acceptance proof because Penn State also decided to waitlist me. 12/18 Waitlisted at Mount Sinai. Not really a surprise but still a bit sad about it. I'm going to hope though. Rejection at Brown too. 12/26 Jefferson invite! 1/3 YESS I'm gonna be a doctor! I love Drexel! 1/6 Medical College of Wisconsin Interview, but for alternate list. Not sure I'm going to go...Decided to withdraw. 1/7 Rejected from MSU. Received UCSD Secondary! 1/9 Rejected from Dartmouth, OH YEAH! SUNY Upstate too 1/16 Rejected from Wash U. Not a real surprise though. 1/20 Interview Invite from SLU, not sure if I'll go. 1/21 Interview Invite from Rochester. Perfect timing, I'll already be on the east coast that week. 1/22 Decided to withdraw from SLU. Sounds like its a good school but these flights are starting to add up and I like Drexel better. 1/28 Jefferson was amazing. I think this is the right fit for me...keeping my fingers crossed. 1/30 Damn it put on hold at SD! 2/4 I'm in at jefferson! OH yea! Sorry Drexel but Jefferson is a better fit for me. I love Philly! 2/13 Rej from Wake Forest. 2/14 Decided to withdraw from my VCU interview. Good luck to whoever gets it. 2/20 Continued my reign as the waitlist king...U of Rochester. 2/26 Awesome, 2 UC rejections in one day...SD and LA. Now I'm down to Irvine, Davis, and USC for Cali schools. All are feeling like long shots at this point. 2/27 Emory and Einstein rejections today. Not surprised this late in the game. Surely there are more to follow. 3/9 Wow best day of the year...interview offer from irvine! 4/20 Fuck my life, I got waitlisted AGAIN. 5/5 Finally withdrew from Drexel, creighton, and Penn state. Jefferson was a better fit. I wouldn't go to creighton or penn state if i got in off the waitlist anyway. 5/12 Just got off the waitlist at Case after 8 months! So amazing to know that my work paid off. Send letters, it does help just not to a stalkerish point.
