Summary of Application Experience
6/13: Took MCAT 7/15: Got score (33R) disappointed b/c was averaging 35+. There were technical complications during the exam, but there's no way I'm retaking. It is what it is, and some things are just meant to be.. 7/22: Submitted AMCAS 8/1: Caved and created MDapps profile. After reading through old profiles as a source of inspiration (and, at times, discouragement/gravity), I felt obligated to contribute to the communal database. Let's hope this profile can be somebody else's source of inspiration in a year from now! 8/13: AMCAS verified..woohoo! It seems like every step along this path is rife with complications...I had over 15 grades marked 'X' on my AMCAS. Long story having to do with how and when I took my post-bacc classes..in most cases they just changed the way the grade was classified but now it appears as though I took graduate science classes which was definitely NOT the case--I was taking undergrad post-bacc science classes at the same time and at the same school that I was taking graduate non-science classes...whatevs, AMCAS 8/22: Starting to feel burned out with secondaries. Still have a handful to go, but getting there.. 9/16: thinking this MDapps thing is way to intrusive. contemplating deleting all info except schools. have significantly cut back on looking at studentdoctor.net bc seeing others get invites was just making me freak out and feel bad. what's the point of that?
