Summary of Application Experience
7/1/09: Submitted AMCAS July 1 2009. 7/18/09: Got married! 8/30/09: Finished most of my secondaries by the end of August. 9/4/09: Got my letters of rec in to AMCAS. 9/20/09: Got a call from Wright State for an interview! First of this app cycle. 10/7/09: Interview at Wright State University in Dayton. Loved it! Great interview day, very relaxed, had a great feeling coming out of it. 11/2/09: Accepted to Wright State (by snail mail in a large packet)! I am absolutely thrilled! It still hasn\'t sunk in yet, after five years of undergrad and two application cycles post graduation. 11/23/09: Invited for interview at Saint Louis University. I will likely decline at this point. 12/2/09: Invited for an interview at USUHS. I think I will probably attend, as I am strongly considering taking an HPSP scholarship at this point anyway. 3/10/10: I got lazy after my first acceptance. I decided to not go to any more interviews. I had four interviews last year to compare Wright State to, and I thought that it compared very well. I am very happy with my acceptance, and look forward to starting med school in Dayton this summer.

Summary of Experience:
Didn\'t realize that the school was URM when I submitted AMCAS, but I decided to submit secondary anyway. Would be nice to interview there to see what the school is like. 12/2/09: Placed on the \"Hold for interview list,\" aka long slow rejection. I will withdraw my application soon, since I already have an acceptance.
