Summary of Application Experience
7/2/08: I know my GPA is low and MD schools are a long shot. I'm taking the MCAT on July 18 and submitting my apps in the near future. I have a strong upward trend so hopefully that helps.
7/9/08: Submitted AMCAS, PS was much more difficult than I expected. Really happy with it though.
7/18/08: Took the MCAT. Felt it went fine but you really can't tell with these things.
8/18/08: Got a 28 on my MCAT. Do not ask how I bombed the WS so bad because I have no idea. Pretty much killed all hope for MD schools. Might still have a chance at Wright State but I won't hold my breath.
9/23/08: Got a DO letter, now all I got to do is fill out secondaries and hope for the best. I had some out of state MD schools on deck but after my MCAT I won't bother. Wondering if I should bother with UC as well. They seem very stat and research orientated, neither of which am I strong in.
