This is going to be a long process... I'm applying to 4 DO schools 4 MD schools and 4 Grad/Post Bacc. Programs. My MCAT date is June 13th. Not sure that I'm ready, but I need to take the test. I'm really nervous my scores on kaplan practice tests are not so great, but I have already put it off from April, so I'm just going to take it, and if I have to I will take it a second time. Well I will update this profile one I get back my score wish me luck.

MCAT Score in... they were not that great. 21M, debating if I should retake it or just make due with this score. Update soon, once I figure out what I'm going to do.

Decided not to retake the MCAT letting God handle it all. I'm prepared to apply again next year if this year doesn't work out. I am applying to 4 masters/post bacc. programs. I got a few secondary applications so I'm filling those out and sending them in as early as possible. Added some more schools.

Still nothing... A great story I am the president of the Minority Association of Pre-Medical Students at my school. We had a meeting and some PCOM students and an admissions counselor from PCOM attended our meeting. She asked if anyone was applying this year I told her I was, and she said let me see if I have your application with me. And she whipped it out of her bag! How excited was I. She said she would make sure to read it that night. That was exciting, glad she got a chance to talk with me and get to know me at the meeting. Hopefully I hear something soon... I'm nervous..... 8-/. At the moment PCOM and Drexel are my Tops.

PCOM interview went well kinda short but went well I think. I am hoping I get accepted will know by the end of October. It would be soo great to know I got into medical school so early. I still have my Drexel Interview 10/14/08. PCOM is a wonderful school. I would LOVE to attend. we went on a tour and was able to see students in class and lab and see some OMM it was a GREAT experience I loved PCOM I'm sure I will love Drexel too. Until next time.

Drexel Interview went really well. Beware that they are making students do a writing prompt during your interview day... wish I had known that ahead of time :-/. Anyway the interview went well, I really liked the school. Some good/bad news, I did not get accepted AS OF RIGHT NOW to PCOM, however my application has been placed on hold until I can provide them with my fall grades, which basically means they would like to make sure I am still pregressing in my sciences which is fine, I just was hoping for an acceptance. Anyway I will be working on keeping my grades up and some possible grad applications as plan B. Will know about Drexel within 6 weeks.

Still waiting.... :-( Semester is going well, can't wait until it's over so I can get my grades in to PCOM, and then hopefully an acceptance. Still waiting to hear from Drexel. No new interviews... I am just really hoping for PCOM and Drexel to pull through for me.

A sad sad day... just got a rejection letter from Drexel... I wasn't really expecting to get accepted, but there is always that little oz. of hope we all have. I know when I saw my small letter that it wasn't good news. I am pulling myself together hoping that my first choice PCOM-Philadelphia accepts me. PCOM wanted to see my fall 2008 grades before making a decision. I finished my fall semester with all A?s and one B I was told these grades should be just fine for me to be accepted. I really think that they just wanted to see how I did in Micro and Immunology, and I did just fine. So I did my part now it's time for PCOM to do there?s. Hopefully my next post will be telling the world I will be a PCOM Medical Student c/o 2013. Leaving on a good note, ttyl until next time.

It's offical I am a part of PCOM's class of 2013!!!!!! God is Good!!! Never give up, and always believe in your self, thats what it took for me to get to this point in my life. Sent my deposit in TODAY!!!
