Brief Profile:
*GPAs are rounded for anonymity sake until later in the application cycle, as well as my ECs... I will fill in more as the year goes on though...
Volunteering and physician shadowing...
My undergraduate GPA is low due to some extenuating factors, so I did my best to make up for it with my MCAT. I will also be attending the Georgetown SMP in the Fall of 2008, to round out my application.

Summary of Application Experience
5/14/08 - AMCAS opened, and I began working on filling it out. I mailed off all of my transcript request forms to my schools. All of them should be able to be sent out right away except for one which is waiting on grades for this last semester.
6/11/08 - Submitted AMCAS!!!!
6/25/08 - TMDSAS Processed and sent to schools, I am officially an OOS TX applicant!!
6/29/08 - Submitted my GW secondary today even though I am still waiting for my AMCAS to be verified! Come on AMCAS! I am going to be so good at waiting by the time this is all over. :)
6/30/08 - Finally verified!!! My GPA took a hit because of the AMCAS system, oh well, nothing I can do about it now! I now officially feel like a medical school applicant, yes! Update: Trying to turn Secondaries around as quickly as possible so that they can all be done before I start the SMP in August... SLU and GW are done :)
7/18/08 - Just finished moving over to Washington DC to begin the SMP in a couple weeks, got a little behind on secondaries but have done some. I'll update those soon!
7/20/08 - So I finally finished all of the secondaries that I let pile up while moving out to Washington DC. But of course tonight is Sunday which means I am sure tomorrow I will be receiving more of them! I am now complete at some schools, so hopefully interview invites will be coming in the next couple months!
7/27/08 - I have finished almost all of the secondaries! Only a few more left but all of those schools screen. So I am going to wait to write those until I actually receive them. I am really hoping that this cycle goes well, with each passing day I realize truly I want to be a doctor. Here's to hopin, stay tuned for updates!
8/1/08 - So most of my secondaries are done and submitted. I only have a few left but I haven't received those yet so I'll have to do them as they come. I start the SMP later this week, so hopefully things will start moving!
