Summary of Application Experience
I took mcat five times since 08/05 to 01/08 and my highest scores were around 21 O. I got accepted at one DO and waitlisted on one. I have interviewed with one US MD and ACCEPTED ON MARCH 7. Withdrew from st George post interview. One thing I have learned with mediocre scores like mine is Jesus miracle. God is so faithful that he didn't let me down when MCAT killed me. I did apply broadly may be 75 MD and DO schools. I am happy with what I got so far and will be a doctor because Jesus was on my side. AS Mike Huckebee said I didn't major in stats or numbers but I do know that Jesus can make a way where there's no way. Just have Hope( read AUDACITY of HOPE) and be confident on your interviews. NEVER GIVE UP, NEVER GIVE UP, NEVER GIVE UP... If you do your part of work, Jesus will do the rest for you, if you stick with him. Thank You Jesus for giving me a second chance.
Here's my stats: BCPM GPA: 3.67 Over all GPA 3.69. Double Majors Biology and Chemistry. MCAT SCORES: VR 2, BS 5, PS6 N 08/05 2, 6,7,M 08/06 4, 7, 8 M I applied with this score set 08/07 3, 7, 8 O 09/07 3, 9, 8 L I didn't even bother to show this set. 01/08
I know many people will doubt on my ability to pass step one but I am confident I will pass it. Note that I learned ENGLISH just after my 24 years of life and that explains my poor Verbal Scores and also I am minority of minority. I will get better and better with time as my English improves. However if it was not Jesus I don't think I would make it to medical school. Thank You Jesus, Amen!
