So the application process has begun. My MCAT far from stellar, but will retake for sure. I know Georgetown is out there, but its only one school and plus I dont know what my MCAT score will be this time: it could be abt the same or maybe I could actually improve. But I am hoping for the best! A lot of ppl have suggested adding DO schools, and I definately will be doing that. My advisor told me I could add some during the fall so that is why I havent put them on my list yet.

-6/15-Submitted my application! It feels really good to be done with that. But I called AMCAS and no word on the transcript. Hope that doesnt delay me too much...but yay I'm done done and am happy abt the work I put into it. Now only if I can feel that way abt the MCAT> oh well to the next step I go!
-6/19-Signed up for Aug. 14 MCAT at noon (yea I need my sleep). I know august is a little late but I prefer having enough time because I really need to bring up my score. I have so much work ahead of me. Yikes. Also applied to two jobs. Anyone have any suggestions for jobs?

-7/11-Secondaries beginning to line up. Right just finished AECOM's and I have Georgetown, UIC, SLU and VCU's left to do.
-7/13-Oh boy oh boy. Now more secondaries. Lets see Georgetown, UIC, SLU, VCU, Wake Forest, EVMS, RFU!!! Its piling up. yikes!

-7/18 Just submitted VCU's at 2:56pm today! Received email from Wake Forest that I will be put on hold til MCAT scores come out.
-7/26 So got email from Howard secondary wont be available til aug 15.
-7/27-Is it a good sign that Ive gotten secondaries from most my schools???
-8/26-I fear my MCAT score. That exam was sooooo hard. Trying to finish up these secondaries which is really painful and applying to jobs, also very painful.

-9/11-I cant believe I got an interview. I was just checking my email like I do everday, and I couldnt believe when I saw the email from EVMS. After going through the application cycle once before and not getting even one interview, I was sooo thrilled to finally get an interview. Not to mention, it is the day before my MCAT score comes out. So it definately makes feel a lot better, but of course I'm still crossing my fingers for my score. This is really good news and I really needed this :). If anyone has any suggestions on how to prepare for an interview please let me know!?
-9/12-Cant believe it. No MCAT score today. Yesterday I was thinking this time tomorrow I'll know my score and I'll what I have to do next...but noo. I feel like everything is way too up in the air. I'm really humbled and so glad I got that one interview, but still it would be so nice to know my effort this summer will pay off. I just want to knoooowwww. ohh the agony.
-9/16-I found out yesterday that I completely bombed my test :(. Never got that low on even a practice test. Felt pretty stupid and miserable yesterday, but then I got a VCU update with an interview. I was shocked, I thought they were going to reject me based on my score. So I'm glad and humbled that I at least have two interviews.
-9/24-Ok so I really get rolling on prepping for the interview. I've done a bit, but I need to do so much more. Also, I am definately going to apply to DO schools in case Md doesnt work out. So I'm trying to formulate a list, so for sure applying to VCOM. Anyone have any stats on DOs, and any recommendations abt which DO schools to apply to??? I would greatly appreciate any advice :)

-11/1- Oh interviewed at EVMS. Waiting to see what happens...so scared. :/
-11/11- Still havent heard anything from EVMS. I think I'm waitlisted. Its hard not to think about it. I really should be putting all my focus on my VCU interview.
-11/20- Called EVMS yesterday, they havent made a decision on me yet. Oddly enough, I feel somewhat relieved. I guess because I thought they had made a decision on me and I was too chicken to call and it was driving me nuts. Ok so I will go nuts next week.
-12/13-Waiting for VCU. I cant think of anything else. Even had a nightmare about it, lol. Please vcu gods let me innnnnn!!!
-12/18-Didnt hear from VCU yet..so waiting for Feb 1. I'm scarrredd.
-1/2/08-So its a new year....2008...So 2007 equalled not too good for me. So I'm hoping 2008 will be a lot better. LOL and that just depends on vcu=acceptance. OHH VCU give this girl a shot!
-1/4-So I got a VCU update and adcom has made a decision on me, and I might find out on Feb 1. Ahhh I cant think of anything else. I always get a VCU update when I least expect it. VCU VCU VCU!!
-1/13-All I can think about is VCU. I try to distract myself, but I always end up coming back to thinking about VCU. Thinking about my interview, what the adcom must have said about, what I score they gave me, and wondering if Feb 1 will be my day. Oyieeeeeee.
-2/1-Nothing...blah. Better start getting ready to the MCAT again...
-3/18-Waitlisted...and I thought I would be outright rejected. Now hoping I'm on a decent enough spot on the waitlist, and I may never know..Oh well am going to apply yet again...
