Summary of Application Experience
Applying to med school is long, tiresome, and expensive. Welcome to medicine! If you can roll through it well, with a positive outlook in the end, you're ready to go. Whether you apply to one hundred schools or just one, all you need is one acceptance. At the end of the day, you'll be a physician or surgeon, MD or DO, from a small college or major univerity, with rural and/or urban training. Should we all strive toward excellence as doctors, no matter where we train or practice, our efforts shall reflect well on our patients. Bearing that in mind, I wish everyone applying to med school the best in their applications, confidence in their interviews, and positive resolve in both acceptances and rejections. As Garrison Keillor would say, 'be well, do good work, and keep in touch.' CHEERS
