Brief Profile:
To give a very basic version of what I've done, see below:
-Currently work as a firefighter/EMT (non-merit employee classified as part time, although I work 36 hours a week), so LOTS of patient exposure through them (and it's a wicked fun job too).
-Volunteered past 5 years for Red Cross first as a first responder, then as an EMT and station leader. Also sit on their medical committee. Various other volunteer and shadowing experience.
-various research experience

Summary of Application Experience
Terrible so far. Reapplicant due to a problem with my bubbling on the paper mcat (guess which section :D), then with my school not sending out my LORs (even after 4 written requests). Hoping this year goes smoother. Took MCAT 5/31, waiting for scores to come back before I submit my application. Ideally, hoping to go to Colorado, as my fiancee is attending veterinary school there.
