Summary of Application Experience
Glad the MCAT was done, it went way better than I could have hoped. I got an interview, but with somewhat lower GPA's I think I'll have to do quite well in the interview to get in/waitlisted. Cross fingers for me. I think my EC's were a big factor in securing an interviews.
Well, interviews seemed to go okay, the interviewers were nice, and I feel they got a fairly good idea of 'who' I am. Now comes the long wait till May 15th.
Well, U of C didn't work out, but U of A was my first choice and I got accepted there. I'm thrilled. I got in by the skin of my teeth, but had a very good interview apparently. A lot of things lined up at once for this to all work out. Just remember to keep trying!
And, P.S. for the love of god, if you don't get in at the U of A, GO FOR A FILE REVIEW!!! If I hadn't gone for a file review I wouldn't have been accepted. They're very helpful, and they're on your side, helping you improve your application. Do it!
