10/30 - I got my first acceptance today and can rest easier now. I hope this is one of many. But it is still exciting!!
11/5 - I decided to withdraw my Wake Forest App today
    11/15 - I pre-matched with Texas A&M and UTHSCSA, yea!!

UTMB 8/10: School was more impressive than I thought. People were nice and very laid back. Facilities were kinda old but seem to work considering high USMLE scores. 6/10

UT-Houston 8/29: I loved this school. People were nice and laid back like UTMB. Facilities are top notch and very new. The med center will allow for anything I would want to do. Plus I would get to stay in houston. 9/10

Texas A&M 8/30: People nice again and laid back. But I dont like the two campus thing. Scott and White is a great facility though and has great clinicians. College station facilities are older and the ones in temple are brand new. 5.9/10

UT Southwestern 9/15: Students had a different feel about them here. They all talked about how tough the school is but how it is worth it in the long end. Also a number of students mention how they hardly see any patients their first 2 years. Parkland is a great hospital and I would be able to get a great clinical experience there. 7.5/10

UTHSCSA 9/17: Students seemed to really love the school and the clinical experience here. They seem to give their students a chance to do a lot and there isnt a real competitive feel here. University Hospital is a great hospital. 7/10

Baylor 9/21: This was an overall great day. They have great facilities and the their students are awesome. I like the progressive curriculum that they have. I would love to go here. 9.5/10

Tulane 10/10: This was a pretty good experience. Everyone seems extremely laid back and want everyone to do well. They are doing a lot to help with the recovery effort and seem very dedicated to the future of NO. 7.5/10

Duke 12/4: Wow! I was blown away by this school. I never expected everyone to be so friendly and great. Their curriculum is unique and sounds great to me. Now they just need to accept me! 9.6/10
