LAME!

Final Update: Not much WL movement this year. Called around and asked for feedback. I was told that I was a good/strong applicant. No one really gave me anything productive to work with. WTF, Why didn't they let me in?!?

I first applied in the 2004-2005 cycle with a 31M Mcat and a 3.34 avg GPA. My app was sent in early August. Lets see if my new numbers and early application will make a difference.

04/30/07 - Fan freaking tastic, another waitlist. I couldn't even seal the deal at albany. I must be some sort of turd bomb if I can't even get in there with my stats.

04/20/07 - Well, I received a great big heap of NADA this month. With the exception of my Albany interview, med school news has been non existant. Hopefully I will have an acceptance some time next week from Albany.

03/16/07 - Another month goes by and I sit here open handed, well except for rejections. I really hope my Albany interview goes well or I might as well think about becoming a janitor at a hospital. At least that way I can try to intimidate interns.

02/13/07 - Another rejection...I really wanted to stay in-state, but the UC's don't seem to like me. *sigh*

01/13/07 - Updated my age...no longer a young 23 year old, now I'm just an aged man reaching for that gold ring. I better find an alternative fast.

01/05/07 - A new year, yet no new news.

12/16/06 - Up to my 5th waitlist spot. I guess April may be an exciting month.

11/10/06 - Just got the snail mail rejection from U Pitt.

11/02/06 - Just broke my interview dry spell with Albany. The tuition is a couple of grand more than NYMC, which means it is crazy expensive. I think I will schedule for late December and cancel if I get in anywhere else before then.

10/21/06 - Well, Oct 16 has come and gone and I am still waiting for my MD spot. I have 1 more interview in the queue (Creighton). I really hope that something happens with the UC's soon.

08/23/09 - Unless those last UC's come though, I am finished with secondaries!!! Now its time to play the waiting game.

08/21/06 - I just cannot find the will/time to finish my last 2 secondaries in the queue.

08/07/06 - Only a few more MD secondaries to go. I have to shift my focus to the DO variety before they think that I don't love them too. :-)

07/17/06 - I am averaging one secondary a day with about a week turn around right now.

07/07/06 - Recieved my first secondary from SUNY Buffalo

06/05/06 - AMCAS submitted, verified a few weeks later
