Ran my own publishing company and distributed Kansas City's only women's newspaper to over 22K readers. No real lab work for a looooooong time (although worked in cancer prevention/epidemiological research in the early 90's).

Summary of Application Experience
Just took the April MCAT. Hope to take it again in August and score higher. Utilizing the services of Judith Levine of PreMed Advising (independent pre med advisor, since I've been out of school so long). She's fantastic! She walks you through EVERYTHING, and helps to pick schools, edit your essay/application, etc. She served as director of admissions for a med school for many years. Great coach!
