Final update (July 2017): I didn't expect this whole application process to be as stressful as it was, and I'm glad it's over. In hindsight, I feel like I would've had more luck with the decisions if I'd been complete earlier (which was not possible last cycle as I took the MCAT in July last year) or if I'd taken a gap year to improve my ECs. I also regret not writing my secondaries ahead of time - a lot of them were pretty bad since I was writing and submitting 5-6 of them a day in early September. Another thing I should've done is prepared more thoroughly for my interviews - by February I wasn't prepping at all. Overall, I'm happy and excited to have gotten into medical school and am ready to move on!

Summary of Experience:
In retrospect, my secondary essay here was pretty much a steaming pile of dog sh!t, so I can't really blame them for this outcome....
Summary of Experience:
Probably shouldn't have bothered applying here since it wasn't a good fit at all and I have no connections to NY. I only applied b/c their secondary has no actual essay questions
Summary of Experience:
II Jan, IA early Feb , W very late March.
Liked the school during the interview day and if accepted, would have likely attended. However. They got really behind giving out admissions decisions. They said they would have let us know by late Feb/early March, and I found out on March 31st or something ridiculous like that. When I called the office, they wouldn't give a straight answer and just said "any day now" for essentially a month. Really soured my opinion of the school because it's already stressful enough applying, I don't need to be led on for weeks and putting my life on hold for a decision like that. Didn't try to get off the waitlist.
One of my least favorite interview dates. Didn't connect with any of the students/staff/other interviewees. My interview/interviewer was very strange and kind of condescending. Very put off by the whole experience. Didn't send updates.
