Summary of Application Experience
Here's to aiming high and expecting nothing.
8/4/14: Unbelievable, Chicago and Vanderbilt interview invites already... Both were near the top of my list coming into the application process. SOOOOOOO thrilled to get to interview at both of these schools. (Note to fellow and future applicants: I also thought I was hosed at both these schools because I noticed a typo on the secondaries after submitting. I guess adcoms understand that we are pressed for a quick turnaround).
8/8: Feeling the pressure of the cost of this whole process. I just hope it pays off in the end. I'm opting not to share my expense totals quite yet, too painful to look at.
10/14: Been through 7 interviews while taking classes and doing some lab work. The interview process is GRUELING, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. I've never been so busy in my life. It'll all be worth it if I get that first accept though.
10/29: 8 Interviews... no decisions. comeonnnnnnnn I'm impatient :)
11/13: First acceptance!!! And from an awesome school! Couldn't feel better.
Summary of Experience:
11/11:"hold for future consideration." Hoping for better news from somewhere else soon. In reality Case was going to be one of my most expensive options if I was accepted anyway so assuming I get in somewhere else *knocks on wood*** I'll be happy to go quietly
Summary of Experience:
UTSW is an incredible option. I have tough decisions ahead of me, it would be extremely hard to turn this place down. Awarded a small scholarship on top of IS tuition as an OOS student, so fortunate!
