Took MCAT in august, and am applying late by everyone's standards. Still wanted to take a stab at it though. Most of the schools are reaches, but I'm hopeful!

11/21/08 Got my first invite to UCF! Am so exited about this school!!!

11/22/08 U Penn status page change to pre-interview deferral (aka rejection).

11/25/08 Rejection from BU. Not entirely unexpected seeing as they have over 10,000 applicants.

So I had my interview at UCF and I loved it!!! I am a big proponent of making changes and being novel so attending a new medical school will allow me to have an input in the legacy of the school... Will find out if accepted or waitlisted in January (they waitlist everyone that's not accepted in a ranked fashion)

1/6/9 Got invite from NYU! I am so happy!!! NYC here I come!

1/7/9 Received call about waitlist at UCF... Top 1/3 but I'm not holding my breath. How many people would turn down a full ride? It's not looking too good for me...

1/7/9 With bad news came some good: Received invite at Cornell after in the area email. I'm completely surprised! YAY!
