Summary of Experience:

Brown was my #1 for undergrad but didnt get into their PLME program.

Has a beautiful new building which would seem to make the classes all "gel" together during the first two years. Facilities are top notch overall.

Didn't get much of a tour of the RI hospital, so this would e something I would be curious about. Also other hospitals close but not within walking distance.

School is very much structured around transcending the limits of an MD degree. Everyone seemed interested in making sure students would be the ones who would go on to lead in new / nontraditional pathways of medicine.

Class size will be expanding to 120 this year, of which 1/2 are from linkage or PLME programs.

Like Dartmouth, brown seems to have a lot of money (although not as much as little D for financial aid)

The undergrad campus is beautiful though, one of my favorites in the US.

Providence is like a miniature charicature of bostons extremes. Very progressive environment.

I thought my interviews went well, really clicked with my second interviewer.

Students iterviewing with me did not seem uptight, which is always nice.

Summary of Application Experience

If someone had told me I would have ended up with acceptances at the schools I did in September, I would have ran off psyched out of my fucking mind.
