Summary of Experience:

Despite not having any formal interview day presentation, my day at Einstein was long and didn't end until around 430 pm. It took some effort getting to the Bronx, and the neighborhood the school is in is a little far for me to consider "New York City." I did appreciate the amicability of the admissions staff, and the changing rooms and metro cards were convenient gestures.

As for the school itself, it seems to have a significant amount of funding for research. Only school with a significant bioethics course, which my interviewer was proud of but the students seem to think was a waste of time. I really like the many opportunities for research including to do a MS in clinical research. Commitment to teaching is apparent.

Although they hyped it up in their brochure, their gym was really lame.

Housing was cheap at only 400 per month, and students live in dorms all four years. No car needed.

Students seemed very happy. P/F first two years.

My interviewer was a very nice lady and although I had some trouble articulating a few of my answers, I think my interviewer looked past that and just wanted to get to what I was saying. Felt pretty good about interview.

Did I already mention that this school does NOT count as New York City?

Summary of Application Experience

If someone had told me I would have ended up with acceptances at the schools I did in September, I would have ran off psyched out of my fucking mind.

PS if you can identify who I am goodworkyo
