Summary of Application Experience

Well, for better or worse it seems that I'm fated to remain in the Tri-State area, after living here in NJ for the past 21 years. Can't complain though :) Overall a long and stressful process, and I'm glad to have some good acceptances to choose from.

Oh wow, seems like California is an option too now! Yay!

After all the second look weekends, I will be in California next fall. Although it was nice to be wanted and to have all these people selling their school, it's a relief that it's over. Though I liked Penn's administration better and Cornell had one terrific professor I really liked, I felt that UCSF offered the best medical and research training as a whole. Perhaps as importantly, I wanted to see a new part of the country. Good luck to everyone else still deciding or applying!
