Summary of Experience:
Hofstra is a really innovative school and I was impressed by their presentation on interview day. I was happy to find that the patient population is much more diverse than I assumed. Long Island seems pretty dull but it's close enough to the city that I could explore if I had free time (LOL).
Summary of Experience:
I had a good time visiting Morehouse. The other applicants were very friendly and talkative. Morehouse's mission aligns with my own, and there are a couple of research projects/centers related to my current work. Sad I didn't have enough time to explore Atlanta!
Summary of Experience:
This interview day was tougher than my first! Maybe I wasn't in the right mood. My friend told me it would be challenging, though. I'm also bummed that we didn't really get to see the facilities. Current students were really chill and seemed like people I could easily be friends with. Strong family vibe and strong advising. Will just have to wait and see how it goes!
Summary of Experience:
Very positive impression after the interview day! Nice facilities, friendly people. I loved visiting Chicago and could definitely see myself living there. Overall great start to the interview season.
Summary of Experience:
Technically OOS but I spent my first 17 years of life in WA, lots of underserved experience. Blown away by the sheer number of opportunities available at UW. It would be kinda nice to be home and have seasons again. I almost miss rain :)
3/3/2016 - Holy smokes! Wasn't expecting that call! Accepted after getting the "Still Under Consideration" email three times over a span of a few months.
Summary of Experience:
Totally loooved this school when I interviewed. Everyone on campus was incredibly nice and the interviews were low-key. The facilities are beautiful (OMG that GYM!) and students feel very well supported. Diversity efforts are really ramping up, too.
