Summary of Experience:
UCSD is an amazing place. Immediately upon visiting it is clear why everyone raves about how livable the city is and the school is right next to the beach. The education facilities are top notch and all the students seem really happy. My largest concern is the clinical sites. The large academic hospital is not nearby and most of the clinical sites are spread far apart. This seemed to detract from the experience in my opinion as you do not have the experience of having a large and talented faculty of physicians across the street as some schools do.
