Brief Profile:
- Keep an open mind throughout the application cycle. If you're too focused on one school, rejection will be harder and acceptance may blind you to the merits of other programs.
- Make friends at your interviews. It's a small world; you'll likely see some of the same students over and over again throughout the cycle. That girl you met during School A's interview will be at School B's second look, and might end up becoming your roommate when you matriculate at school C.*

Summary of Application Experience
Most Impressive Interview Day: Michigan, with Duke a very close second.
Worst Interview-Related Experience: That $55 hotel before the CWRU interview. Oh, that was scary and cold.
Best Interview Day Food: Michigan, if you include the night-before Pizza House dinner. Otherwise, OUWB.
Best Acceptance Notification: The text message ten minutes before midnight on October 15th instructing me to meet Michigan medical students on the U-M diag. This was followed by much hugging, near tears, XL UMMS T-shirts, and a very early a.m. call to my parents.
Friendliest, Most Welcoming Admissions Staff: Michigan & OUWB (tie), though all schools were great in this respect.
Most Impressive Hospital: The Cleveland Clinic, obviously.
Prettiest Campus: Duke
Nicest Medical School Building: Duke
Interview Pen Rank: Pitt > OUWB > MSU > CCLCM > Wayne > Michigan = CWRU > Duke (no pen)
Best Second-Look Swag: Michigan (Bag, T-shirt, water bottle, pin, pen, and a maize and blue football. Yes, a football.)
Worst Interview Decision: That Chipotle burrito before the Duke interview. I felt terrible, and I think I had food poisoning.
Greatest Failure to Learn From My Mistakes: Another Chipotle burrito the night before my Pittsburgh interview.
